Jumping back into the Suiko I&II talk, I don’t see the problem with having a new storyteller tell an old story again, which is what these remakes with slightly different visuals feel like to me. An unblemished .iso of the PS1 version will remain available for as long as personal ownership of media remains possible. This is more akin to putting Frozen back into theaters with sing-a-long subtitles.

Also there was a funny part in the Nier Automata switch port stream where they had Taro and i think Takahisa Taura on (combat designer) and the interviewer was like “any final statements” and taura said “PLEASE BUY ASTRAL CHAIN! I WORKED VERY HARD ON IT AND NEED THE MONEY”
