The OK to bad Wolverine review scores confirm what I’ve suspected for ages - they oughta just re-release the X-Men Origins Wolverine game. That one was alright.
they’re just okay. kind of just a normal shooting game with better ballistics modeling and x-ray slow downs of nazi testicle and brain destruction, and then in like the last level you’ll snipe someone at long range. starting with 5 they have co-op and dark souls invasions, that can go a long way if you make use of that. I think it’d make a big difference if they had a weirder main character instead of temu blazkowicz
hate to continue a discussion in a totally new thread, but just wanted to say that I agree
and that makes sense and I get it. I think boycotts work and matter and it doesn’t have to be all or nothing, but I also can never shake the memories of reading articles 15 to 20 years ago about the US military piloting military drones with Playstation controllers and building military supercomputers using PS3s, and that was during Kojima in his prime Sony days and prime “war is bad” days
I agree on sony vs microsoft (fuck both) for probably identical reasons but microsoft being involved will make people turn off their kojima related blinders much easier for the reasons bachelor stated. I love when everyone is correct.
I know a guy who pulled his game from xbox and split ties with them because of BDS. Personally it meant for me that I wasn’t going to buy Forza 6 or any of the DoubleFine games, but now DF is independent so I can.
I think this video that People Make Games reflects a lot of what I think. But also talks about the extent Microsoft is involved and why you’d want to boycott.
I view this like the meme where the guy goes “Billion minus one”
We actually got two hot new games this week, the modern port of the Touhou and SPRAWL ZERO. I plan on picking up both once I clear my 4-5 current plays. I am super excited to blast and crush through Sprawl Zero, my impression from the demo is it is one of my goty.
More in-depth look than what was in the recent Nintendo Direct. I’m not really understanding whether there’s something novel about the predict and disrupt enemy moves mechanic.
i thought it was kind of funny but also that it was a reflection of the generally low morality of the videogame developer, who is usually operating on the same level as about a drug pusher.
