thank you for making me not the only one to refer to SB by its name as if it were an actual person that I respect and need in my life and not a loose association of hipsters, failed/’still’ undiscovered indie devs, food bank organisers/beneficiaries (actual Communists), and also vital contributors to the project that is worldwide disgaea yaoi archival.

So anyway, SB, what/how is a PS5 Portable?

You’re talking about the PS Portal? Based off what people in a discord I’m in say, they spent 300 dollars to fool themselves they are gonna play FF7 Rebirth two rooms away from their Playstation.

i can’t believe I’m in a discord with at least two people with such poor financial control that they own a Playstation Portal. One of the most “Why?” $300 consume electronic devices to ever exist. Does it do anything? No but if you have a PS5 and strong wifi you can play your PS5 in a different room of your house.

if you don’t have $300 but do have a phone, you can also use PS Remote Play. making the entire point of the Portal extremely questionable

The Portal looks like an irresistible object to me, so I gotta stay away from it if I encountered one I’d be compelled to balance it on the edge of a counter and see if I could karate chop it in half, it looks like you could break that thing so easily

if you are willing to deal with jumping through some hoops in setting it up, Chiaki lets you turn anything into a PS5

Is FFT PSP any good, some people say it’s a masterpiece, other people it’s a grindfest with a story less subtle than a brick

it’s imo easily worse than either the new remake or the original release. I guess I am grateful to the new remake for at least totally obsoleting the PSP version

fully onboard with you there, and when we see the prices for the PS5Portable in, say, 10 years we will remember how we coulda, woulda, shoulda gotten one when they were cheap.

Looking at the (non-existent) Saturn, Dreamcast and Virtual Boy there in the corner that i should have bought… ah, youth :ghost:

Aren’t there rumors, based on Sony hardware leaks, that the next PlayStation device will be a handheld of some sort?

This is maybe a weird question, but I have been using a Tstand2 with my Nintendo Switch (extremely neat), and after only 2 years, the elastic inside it broke (it looks like the elastic kind of dried out). Has anybody any experience with this item, and undergone similar experience? If so, how to open the Tstand2 without breaking it and replace the elastic?

if i want to play oneechanbara without falling asleep at the controls is z2 the way to go? i tried the ps2 games recently and while i like the concept they are a lot more boring to hit enemies in than drakengard

I regret to inform you that pretty much all of those games are boring. I played origin which is a remake of the first two games and it was a snoozefest outside of the sisters looking cool, the lady with the huge tits and cowboy hat is so funny to me

I imagine the later ones are ‘better’ but I bounced off of z2 pretty quick, not enough simple series stank on it for me (I think the 360 one is the best one but I played through it via local coop so ymmv)

z2 is more of a character action game than the super no budget musou of the ps2 games

Waiting for the God of War (2018)-style Oneechanbara reboot
