Looking forward to Nier 2 and Scalebould, honeslty have high hopes for these games.
Nidhog 2 gives me hope.
I’m hoping to have control to hold off on Mass Effect until I hear something positive on it to make sure it’s not some terrible mess.
Gravity Rush 2 demo apparently drops tomorrow so that’ll be a chance to see if they do anything new with it.

So, if the downloadable demo is the same as the TGS demo and kiosk demo floating around, it’ll be the same as the first unless you tell the game you know what you’re doing, then it unlocks the new powers they added and an additional encounter after the initial task

Does it? Maybe the player characters do.
The environments I’ve seen look like a hundred indie action-platformer-RPGs put together.
I guess what I’m saying is that the original was ugly in a way that I liked and the sequel is, or seems to be, ugly in a way that I don’t like.

If Nidhogg 1 and Nidhogg 2 were released at the same time and weren’t part of a series, I probably wouldn’t like Nidhogg 2’s aesthetic as much. But because Nidhogg 2 itself is unnecessary it’s kind of nice that the art is both more defined and more baroque. I definitely could not see it getting cleaner. Also, the chunkiness of the pixels is kind of warm and nice. It reminds me of that era of Square Enix that did a lot of clay illustrations (Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger) except the themes are dope instead of boring.
