Nemesis is a good film if you’re 11 years old (that was me).
I think if you lack any kind of emotional connection to tng and its characters it works purely on the basis of tom hardy’s performance, like I think nemesis is better than rise of Skywalker as a disappointing final franchise entry bc TROS is both a failure as a film and as a star wars media, Nemesis is primarily a failure as a star trek but still has some redeeming qualities as a film
They are also comparable as the slimiest, most deliberately abject entries in their respective franchises

god. nemesis was horrible. fortunately we are unfortunately surrounded by equally misguided Trek stuff these days so it will be easy enough to roll it under the same rug that I put Picard and Disco. the compartmentalization work has already happened and I can just go on living. apologies to those who were there when it came out, apologies for this franchise 9/11.
But yes bitch it’s time to watch DS9 now

Ok I just paid the eBay price for this as a Christmas present to myself. Recommended honestly because this set rules. Really solid, too. If you threw this at someone’s head at ramming speed you could do some damage.

Nice! Somehow the only Enterprise I have is the First Contact one (the E?), but I’ve got the Defiant, the Voyager, the TNG-style Romulan ship and the movie style Klingon ship. I am super jealous of that All Good Things future Enterprise! I had no idea they even made that.
