“Windy” is definitely a cultural osmosis tune, ive heard it in ads and it was a memorable joke needledrop in Breaking Bad (over a montage of a sex worker named Wendy doing sex worker stuff because lol edgy. (i like that show but it’s very lol edgy))

tuxedomoon is a group I have tried to get into with little success, they often have a lot of interesting stuff going on that imo never really coalesces in a satisfying way. iirc they were on the same label as anna domino? or virginia astley? maybe both? I do kinda like this one

archers of loaf is one of those bands i heard about constantly as a Guided By Voices/Sebadoh/Pavement fan in college but never really bothered with for whatever reason. this sounds exactly as i expected. maybe closer to punk than any of those bands.
speaking of another 90’s band i had heard of but never sought out until recently, this Kitchens of Distinction song is great
