Listening to the Exorcism album Sidewalks and Skeletons. Getting some more witchhouse exposure (I think that’s what this is anyway)
just found this band this week and have been repeating their albums while working
feels like a blend of 6 or so different bedroom genres at once, hard to place lol

here is a prequel of sorts to the magnetic pole flip. this is crushing psych space rock with embedded Carl Sagan samples concerning the formation of planets.
necro-ing to say that Crack the Skye was my favorite metal record of the 2000s. That album is just soaked in great guitar plus that bonus bananas banjo intro to Divinations.

I’ve been listening to a bunch of Nouvelle Vague songs, but this one stands out at the moment because
- The vocalist (Camille) is someone I listen to a lot but I didn’t know until today that she did vocals for some of this group’s songs.
- I just learned that Martin Gore didn’t write it as I’d assumed. The original version was by a group called Tuxedomoon.
