fact that you can walk on all the out-of-bounds areas in halo 2, they all have collision. why dont more games do that

I loved that as a kid. Cruelty Squad also does this.

I remember the ones in Serious Sam just go on forever and it’s great

Not only did the Guilty Gear XX Accent Core port for the Wii use motion controls but you could also get an on screen display of how many calories you burned after every match.

if the spirits of dostoevsky and stanley kubrick attempted to enter the same body you would basically have to stop the body from killing itself every time you took your eyes off of it for 10 seconds

maybe not games technically but TIL there’s a SECOND (shin) megami tensei OVA other than the one that appears on the Top Ten Goriest 80s Anime OVA’s list and the two most recent letterboxd reviews are cracking me up

I think about how racist that scene from RE5 feels where some random white blond woman screams as she is being grabbed and pulled into a house by a few of the villagers. Even when I was like super young and not totally conscious I saw that happen it weirded me the hell out.

Edit: omfg I just found this incredibly stupid thing

this b is not even a character wtf are you talking about!!

I haven’t actually watched this video and I don’t really recommend anyone here watch it. Just linking it for the novelty of being a 30 minute long review of Vampire Survivors that starts with the opening line, “Vampire Survivors is very similar to House of Leaves”.

how when you play an action game, you tend to stare only at the small portion of the screen around your avatar, so actually a person who’s just watching and not playing is probably taking in more visual information

i wonder if this has anything to do with the phenomenon of many people now being more willing to watch games on youtube than play themselves
