I honestly love it. Boldest ayy design I’ve seen from a triple-A game in forever
Throwback to the good old days of the World Computer Shogi Championship used to be won by PC and console games and not massive clusters of supercomputers. I talked about this in a video about Morita Shogi for WonderSwan.

If you have a bowling alley in a game there should be a functional bowling minigame. I want fortnite’s bowling alley to be functional, if only because I like the idea of like 6 or so squads ignoring the match to play bowling side by side
On Earth 2 there’s a Duke Nukem battle royale that’s nothing but this sort of thing
bowling alley
beach volleyball
horse-girl-racetrack with a gambling system
shrinkray maze with cheese at the end
Watching a bunch of game trailers all at once is a lot like eating an entire bag of chips in a sitting. Enjoyable at first, swiftly diminishing returns in terms of pleasure, then leaves you feeling sort of ill afterward
Coincidentally I’ve just done both at once and can’t recommend it as an experience
I binge game trailers almost daily and I think I need the equivalent of a diet

An article in Wizard magazine #41 claims production on this started in 1986 which would explain the roster and such
Also in this 1994 issue: yet another dumb Casting Call piece, where they name their ideal cast for a superhero movie. This time it was for live action X-Men.
Maybe the only time this magazine had a good idea.
See I wasn’t kidding this magazine was awful. (Tennant did work there, he was an editor.)
