and in the last one, sometimes certain buttons are excluded, like l3 and r3, the touchpad, or l2 and r2. super robot wars x on the vita, even though the vita does have a start button, asks for any button and it even accepts moving one of the analogue sticks! but it doesn’t accept the touchscreen or the weird touchy area on the back of the vita

I adore it and think about it often! I haven’t gone back to it in a long time. It was the last real PC-style adventure game I ever loved and the writing and visual design was 100% attuned to my tastes at the time.
I often say nice, fond things about Return to Zork, too, but everyone is very quick to tell me it’s absolute garbage. I can buy that ZGI is the better game.
