the possibilities for grimdark alternate universes that use this page as a divergence point
When I played Path of Exile, I found a same mystic mark in serval dungeons.
It’s like the maze in Westworld. Maybe it not a big deal in this game, but it lets me think a lot. That mark is the key of this wicked world, I’m the William too.
the interview lush did in some magazine where miki berenyi says she’s playing saga 1 while they’re touring
not a thing i think about a lot per se but this is something i found memorable watching this particular documentary and this thread is the most appropriate place to post it:
her (now ex-)company’s dating sim game WILL looks pretty interesting btw:
Oh it’s a VN not a dating sim! I liked it a lot. Very unabashedly pulpy, with fast pacing for the genre and heart. It undoubtly aims to be a mainstream game but you can feel the writer’s unique perspective
The core mechanic about rewriting the story to get a better outcome (what if instead of getting stabbed, I’m the one stabbing?) makes no sense half the time but it’s a strong enough concept that it doesn’t matter
oh cool! yeah i meant to say VN lol. from the games featured in the documentary it was the one that seemed the most interesting to me. she was also the only female developer interviewed, and you could def see her frustration with the space throughout. but yeah the documentary is def worth watching. one of the better game documentaries in general IMO.
As you can see I’ve knocked over many chairs because I get so tilted at the towers
That’s the difference between you and I, Silver the Hedgehog

I was thinking back earlier today about how ages ago when I was playing a bunch of Perfect Dark with friends I chose to visit the GameFAQs forums for it and there was this hundreds pages long discussion about a mystery where players were stumbling upon dead enemies in the game who swore they weren’t the ones to kill them, weren’t any firefights near them and often were found with crossbow bolts in them. A few people were speculating that it meant that there was a super secret character/something in the game that could kill anything and it was up to the community to figure out how to find them. More thought the game just had a back-up system where if the game had too much loaded up it’d kill an enemy itself to keep the game chugging along (those who played the game likely remember how it felt like the N64 could barely run it). Others thought that people were just messing with folks. That last one was probably the correct take, but the first two are still pretty neat ideas I’d like to see actually used in a game sometime.
mods title me ‘deeply stimulating post breakfast conversationalist’ thanks in advance

what is that vacant expression on Romero’s face, did the photographer only take one picture
I just assume they hated each other because they’re both called John and Romero wasn’t thrilled to be touching backs with a rival John.
Carmack looks like one of the Proclaimers.
i can’t get over the sheer volume of both their hairdos
really disappointed this didn’t end with him having to evacuate his actually on fire apartment building
