Routinely think about how old I am compared to game release dates
Today I realise Uncharted 1 and the dawn of the PS3 happened in the year that is the exact midpoint of my entire life. This somehow makes me feel relatively young but also very old.

Saw online that MGSV is 9 years old, ergo the whole “It’s been 9 years” at the beginning lining up.
I still think that one is one of the best MGS games…“the story is incomplete and Kiefer barely talks” OK yes true but also the game is fun, and good, and I enjoyed playing it. Can’t say that about MGS4.

MGS5’s only flaw, and I mean that sincerely, is that they didn’t get Hayter for the real Big Boss reveal at the end. Everything else about it is choice.
