this is definitely an opinion i’d expect from an Among Us creator, i guess
the term indie game was, to begin with, fraught, and now i think it’s completely meaningless. as meaningless a term as “hipster” or any other idea that fizzled out of existence within 5-10 years of its initial usage. the state of things certainly feels dire, though - the initial problem of “how do i get my game out to the public” still exists, but now for entirely different, completely inverted reasons

i love the cows in ocarina of time theyre so so cute. they slowly follow your movements around them and have lovingly rendered cud chew/head shake animations that you could easily never notice and i like that theyll all give you free milk if you play them a song
i also love this cow in Twinsens Odyssey More cows in videogames
i don’t have a screenshot, and they aren’t as adorable as oot cows, but the cows in dq11 give you weather forecasts
Every game that lets me talks to cows is good
