from maddy thorson’s super sonic saves the world world
I thought I was an adult but then I saw an SNES RPG tier list rank Chrono Trigger over Final Fantasy 6 and it still got me.
It got you how right and just it was?
when I had less of a handle on coping mechanisms for OCD intrusive thoughts one of the things I would do silently to clear my head was rank JRPGs
The FF6 vs CT question is just a proxy battle between Amano and Toriyama fans.
YES I’m also reading this right now. Diane Duane actually gets it.
When they were adding paid mods to Skyrim was when I knew video games as an industry were cooked for good. If you could make the most popular game in the world that continues selling as long as there’s a single platform for it, and you still have to nickel and dime people, then there’s no way any of this is going to work.
Mandara in Shinobi for Sega Master System. I never played the game but I used to watch my neighbor play and he’d get so annoyed at this boss.
But what goes through my mind much more often than that is the bonus stage music.
do we have a souls-clone-catch-em-all thread btw?
these days there are so many soulses coming out that it’s hard to keep track of them all. Case in point is that i saw Wuchang (plus random subtitle) for the PS5 for the first time today, and since Wukong can use a sibling, bought it on the spot, to put it on the souls-pile of shame.

On the one hand, I think the need to project yourself as the player character is evidence of a deeply sick mind,
On the other hand, they never made a more beautiful and elegant Dragon Quest than the first one, did they?
this game seems…very kusoge, arcade and playable?
from my friend, a football fan:
ib…super GOAT solo player who often shooting by Taekwondo skills and pose, no other man could did that.
One of the things I was most disappointed in Persona 4 was the removal of the automated party members. It was a cool concept to develop social links w them and have them act differently in battle in Persona 3. It could’ve been so much more…
a videogame thing i think about a lot lot lot lot is the existence of Wolfenstein 3D, a game where they kept constantly changing their mind about what design approach to take while making it, and it very much shows. a post about Tom Hall on social media today spurred me to waste two hours of my life ranking all of the 60 levels in the game in a fucking google doc. if you don’t know the game very well this probably won’t mean anything to you, but i had to do it anyway
