I don’t know, y’all, all those Infogrames logos look to me like armadillos and not dicks, even if they originally wanted to name the company after dicks

It has always bothered me that the company was called “Infogrames” because in my head it always sounded like the sound one’s brain might make if it had a stroke while you were playing edutainment software, but thanks this thread that I finally looked up why it’s called “Infogrames” and it’s apparently because they

used a mix-and-match computer program to suggest other names, one of which was “Infogramme”: a portmanteau of the French words “informatique” (information technology) and “programme” (computer program). The final choice, Infogrames, was a slightly modified version of that suggestion.
