was looking in a book of old magic cards I used to have and comparing them to more modern cards and they really sucked the style from most of their cards. there are so many different looking artstyles, artists are immediately recognizable in a way they aren’t anymore

and now the conventions are so strongly established no one’s making it up as they go anymore

According to my completely legitimate interpretation of this card text, the turn you place The Wandering Emperor, you can activate her first ability a hundred times to boost a 1/1 creature to 101/101 and gain 100 extra Loyalty, then spend it all down to create 103 Samurais
