Those old Yugioh cards had this dark pallet with striking blacks that still make it stand out.
whoa where did you get these?
Hi there, yugioh.fandom
My mom cleaned her clothes out of my childhood bedroom closet and I can finally look inside and see what things have mine have been hiding in there for a decade. Apparently I bought a .hack TCG starter deck at some point. Look at this incredible card art for the holographic Mailer card.
A really blurry screenshot of the game.
has anyone ever been caught cheating in a trading card game by having left certain cards out in the sun to fade, so they always know where they are in the deck?
I think they mandate the use of sleeves at tournaments in order to make it more difficult to mark cards
at least as far as Magic is concerned, sleeves are never enforced, even for competitive events, but you can get disqualified if you have visibly marked cards.
there was a whole issue a few years back where some cards were only available in foil versions, and combined with a lacklustre change to the card stock, it was basically impossible to play with the real card, sleeved or not, because you could tell from the thickness where those cards were in your deck. in those cases, they made you scribble the name of the card on a basic land and swap that in, which is kinda embarrassing for wotc I guess if you can’t actually play the game with the card you open
this is not a real card, but it’s sensible enough that it could be in something like a Modern Horizons 3

this has so many keywords on it and yet I don’t even think it’s playable by modern modern standards
okay card description the potato sack that was worthless for half the game wasn’t very shiny now was it
Oh definitely not lol. I only thought of it in terms of complexity and humorous mechanics
I don’t even think I’d play it in limited since it doesn’t really effect the board much for three mana, and you always end up with more than enough playables nowadays, especially in a high-powered set.
