Kaldheim seemed like a crowd-pleaser, but I was pretty turned off because double-faced cards are so fiddly. If they’re about to sneak any Phyrexian mechanics back in (poison! infect! proliferate!), that might change things.

Here are some of the cards I’ve enjoyed looking at since I got back into yugioh irl very recently. Perhaps none of them are as good as pudding buddies so im sorry in advance
Book of moon is maybe my favourite yugioh card for its consistently surprising versatility, so I’m sad it is less good now that link monsters (which can’t go into defense position) exist. I bought this copy just to see what platinum rare looks like. It is a very unpopular rarity but I like it tbh.
