I really dislike how Magic cards read once they tightened the legal language on them a decade or so ago, and I love it when the designers still sneak through playful language

Feels wrong to me that this is mono green, but I guess I haven’t kept up with color identity of mechanics for a while.

The theme of the last year has been that green just does everything now so it’s not completely out of place

Also I think they’re just willing to print absolutely whatever in a commander product, as long as it’s not a playable white card

I could argue that the exuberance of Quattro Cascade makes it mono-green, but I couldn’t tell you where on the color pie Cascade sits nowadays. Except not in white.

Looks fun though

i love yugioh cards, i love how they’ve been making them for a hundred years and still insist on their being completely unreadable

not in the main story, that card’s from one of the supplemental sets last year.
I love that they’re using these sets for new stuff as well as deep cuts both in lore and mechanics (such as this guy who re-introduces Mana Burn)

I’ve been interested in Pokémon recently, and I found this artist that makes these yarn Pokémon for card art and even though none of them look playable, they’re too adorable for me to care about that
