I noticed my eye wasn’t twitching and my GIF uploads become PNGs so I searched and it appears Discourse dropped animated avatars upstream about a year ago and there aren’t readily available plugins to get them back.
Congrats @gary , fight the power and maybe don’t ever change it

When selecting posts, we used to have options to select a post + replies, a post + posts below it, or just that post. Today I’m only seeing the last option. Was this a known/intended change, or is something broken?

seems impossible that one of our overrides would’ve touched that, might be an upstream change/bug

that has always happened to me rarely when the server is busy
It’s happening to me as well right now. I’ve never seen this before personally, but I suppose it could be a server load issue.
Happens to me from time to time. Less often these days and not right now.

Hm, the bug is still in effect for me. I tried logging out and back in, no dice.

interesting
I cannot duplicate and don’t have time for this today, hopefully someone else can look into it
I’m checking their forums and docs, I’ll circle back if I find anything.

it’s very bizarre that it would only be affecting a subset of users, seems impossible it could be serverside in that case, gotta be a browser compatibility thing, right?
Yeah, or some kind of local storage issue? Reading up on the js.
@Brooks @OneSecondBefore mind sharing what browsers you’re using?
I’m getting this bug on all desktop browsers I’ve tested – Firefox, Chrome, and Edge.
For some reason, on mobile, both Safari and Chrome are working properly without this bug.
I’ll try restarting my computer later to see if that helps at all, but right now I can’t.

Kicking myself for not checking the debug console when I had this issue earlier lol
Thanks!

OK, restarting my computer didn’t solve it.
