Not sure if this is an actual problem or just something local to my device, but for some reason the forum has stopped loading on Firefox mobile for me. Switching back to Chrome still works on mobile, and my laptop can load it fine on Firefox.
Edit: might have been a fluke caused by a lengthy loading process. Seems to load fine, now.
Nothing broken right now, just saying I went back and read all the sukajan thread yesterday and what a joy that all the images still worked in there and I got to just scroll through all the beautiful art.
things are definitely feeling janky since the latest update on my end… it’s become fiddlier to quote two posts in one reply and scrolling several posts is kind of frustrating and i was using my 2015 mbp last night and the ‘latest topics’ box at the bottom was next to the ‘385 unread topics and 1 new one’ or whatever text. that last one seems like a lil CSS change in line with whatever side menu they’re pushing on us in the next stable release but… hm!
I’ve noticed recently that flagged posts no longer have any clickthrough links (for me at least). Was this an intentional decision by the admins here, or did a random Discourse update change the default behavior? (i don’t really care too much either way — i’m just curious)
The site will load the landing page but I cannot progress to any other page. The loading bar progresses and then hangs about 80%. This only happens on my desktop using Chrome. Not sure if it’s something on my end.
I can’t exclude only SB but just made it a manual turn-on for sites I do need to use. Not much effort to just click the extension when I need it in Zotero’s case.
Ah, that would explain why the same was happening to me. Looks like they released an update to Zotero Connector and now Discourse is working again for me. In case you ever want to re-enable the plugin globally.
the 20 posts in the past thing doesn’t happen very much anymore
on the other hand, i just had the youtube video i watched up thread start playing again only it seemed to have 2 instances playing at once so there was a echo effect.
