@villain i think if you unregister the service workers in dev tools → applications and reload we’re still missing splash-screen.map but the other 404s are no longer showing up
incidentally not sure what purpose splash-screen.map serves here

i’m not 100% on what was broken in the plugin but it was the unofficial animated avatars. it’s been updated as recently as 2 days ago for minor syntax changes so we might be able to reinstall it later but for now i removed it

At least now we have a silly little tiny loading bar at the top of the screen! It’s weirdly satisfying.
this is still happening for me
sometimes the number of posts changes but often its 20
that’s also happening to me a lot (chrome on android (idk about desktop))
this has been present for a while, I think our theming overrides make the reverse scroll position hook slightly more sensitive than it’s supposed to be, and it probably just needs an offset somewhere
in case it helps, it only just started happening to me when i first posted about it

we’ll fix this at some point, I will sit down and do it at the meetup house if the wifi is tolerable and it’s not done by then, I have the database backed up we just need to load it into a dockerized old mysql

Recently, when I open a thread on desktop, I’ll see the most recent post for a second before the site jumps back about 20 posts before it. I’m not sure if that’s just me…
It doesn’t happen all the time though. I just find it odd whenever it does.

i get this all the time, unless i open a link in a new tab. but that takes longer to load (i see the “loading dots” again).
it’s quite annoying.
