as well as ports of grandia 1 & 2, the switch is also getting a port of the first phantasy star game, with automapping for the dungeons!

no word yet on whether itā€™ll get a western release though

Had no idea that theyā€™d already anounced Sonic 1, Thunder Force 4, Alex Kidd in Miracle World and Gain Ground as part of this!

All of them seem to have a bunch of M2 extras like

  • Sonic 1 having the Sonic Mania drop dash

  • The arcade Mega Play version of S1 being ported for the first time ever. Basically a time attack game that removes the Marble and Labyrinth Zones.

  • Use the Thunder Force 3 ship in TF4

  • Make the music not stop when voices play in TF4

  • and a bunch of other stuff

I think they said there will be at least 15 games in total, including some that havenā€™t seen any kind of re-release previously. I am hoping Soleil / Crusader of Centy is one of them, but itā€™s probably a long shot

Iā€™m genuinely surprised at how good this is looking. It really seems like theyā€™re going for it on this one with everything they have.
