The News Grandmaster 4000

oh, i totally forgot about that! i only had the new-then release date i could remember, and obviously the audience for this would have been… well… not as willing to dive deep back into survival mode.

ah well, let’s see and hope, i haven’t been able to play an irem game since… uh… a decade…

Does anyone have screenshots yet?

I don’t think so, but there’s already a Grandia II remaster on Steam.

Came here to post this. Screens in demand! The question as usual is how extensive “remaster” gets.

I see 2 more readily cleaned or scaled up, while 1 might undergo a lot more change. I’d rather it not aside from very mild QOL improvements. It’s so damn charming and spirited as is.

Yeah, I have such a fondness for the first game’s energy, its aesthetics, its charming and affecting story, and its battle system. I hope its not too heavily made over. It’s been so long since I’ve played it, I’m not sure exactly what types of QoL improvements would be welcome other than a quicksave option.

Edit: This was an E3 announcement, so it isn’t news, but I came across it through a Gamescon link.

Our boy made a lofi hiphop trailer and I certainly didn’t know.

Didn’t Jet-Li do that in The One?

Me this morning as I was blasting Devil Trigger out the stereo -

“How do they need to deliver in DMCV hmm”

And a new trailer materializes. With how sharp everything’s looking and a level up from previous weaponized motor biking, yeah.

I fail to see the problem

(Also The One did feature using a motorcycle as nunchaku, but no bike splitting that I remember.)
