It’s the nature of enormous-scale culture products that they have good work inside of them – even if they can’t make a real, human statement due to their nature, they can always be dissected for technique and craftsmanship.
I was never disposed to find Naughty Dog’s latest sub-HBO preening a meaningful work of art, but I have a lot I need to look at and learn from in there.

I just read the trigger warning spoiler info link in that accessibility video and it says the only trans character is Lev who is a trans man so ???
I mean, the antagonist of the game being a burly woman who has a lot of physical features that are often associated with transwomen is something that does concern me. Especially because because the good lesbians are all much less butch than her from the images I’ve seen. Which even if it isn’t intentional isn’t great in a contemporary social context.
