don’t get me wrong this is not a particular recommendation to watch the season it is a step down from the first and the pacing is molasses slow and there is no reason to watch jonathan majors if you don’t want to. i was honestly only watching to luxuriate in the set design and mood but they really pulled out some good psychedlic stuff at the end there

Yeah I think Loki is really the only worthwhile d+ show and probably the best MCU thing post endgame. But the second season was still a huge step down. I did like the last episode though even though it’s very unclear what exactly ol loks is doing out there . Guess it doesn’t matter… Magic god stuff I guess. It did look cool but the canon dorf inside me just wanted like one more small piece of exposition… Just a tiny amount

he’s becoming a time loom himself to manage the multiverse which because of [SOMETHING SOMETHING TECHNOBABBLE] allows them time to prepare for all the kangs HWR warned about (that they showed at the end of ant man 3) to come back for the movie kang dynasty

ALTHOUGH there is an argument that they left out just enough exposition on purpose to get rid of jonathan majors if they need to have just have it be a bunch of lokis

To me the D+ show ARE Marvel. Ms. Marvel, Hawkeye, She-Hulk. This is what I want. Gimme more!

So if Batman flying the bomb out of Gotham was a homage to Adam West trying to dispose of the bomb at the pier, is this the source of Talia Al Ghul’s alias in the Nolan series?

I can’t find the pitch video for this on youtube anymore, but the jokey premise of it was that a young woman becomes a public school teacher, and her dad had an alien super suit in 80s that let him be a super hero. He gives her the suit, which was linked to his DNA, but because she only has half of her dad’s DNA she just loses her super powers as random. It was pretty funny, but probably not enough to build a whole show around.

James Gunn more like Corporate Holding A Gunn To James’ Head am I right

Man it’s fine for like 15 total minutes of screen time as a villain in a movie but there’s no way that fat suit can sustain a protagonist through multiple hours of television

it continues to remain hilarious to me that they have produced Birds of Prey, Gotham, Batwoman, Pennyworth, Gotham Knights, and The Penguin. Batman is allowed to hang out in the periphery and appear for 5 minutes in the batsuit but there must never be a live action show about Batman fighting crime.
