I want a new season of Peacemaker every year for the rest of my life.
did everyone memory hole that Brian Wood’s a sex pest?
Look, you try and find a liberal post-2000s Vertigo comic that might make a buck after Y: The Last Man flopped.
No one’s doing anything with Daytripper
Where’s my Madame Xanadu limited series
edit: a finger on the monkeys paw curled, apparently jj abrams is helming this one
I’ve apparently memory holed the entire existence of a person named Brian Wood so that seems pretty good
after a season or two, legends of tomorrow really was the spiritual heir to all the cleopatra 2525, brisco county jr, jack of all trades action pack shows and even though i hadn’t watched it for a while i do feel kinda sad that it’s cancelled. just extremely low budget fun done with panache. it’s nice that it managed to last this long though i wish they could have at least got more donald faison as booster gold. legends of tomorrow’s only true crime was robbing the flash of captain cold who was the absolute hammiest batman 1966 level villain and totally should have stayed as the flash’s main villain. the flash contracts are up next year and rumors are sort of a short wrap up season next year at most. batwoman’s dead too so i guess the warner merger is probably gonna mostly end the arrowverse which is probably fine overall. a shame that covid really never let them follow up on their gianto crossover. i mean i guess something might still happen on superman depending on how long it manages to last.
Not swole enough.
Disney I know you’ll market this as an anodyne girlboss feminism thing.
But deep down you know the main audience for this character is the fetish community.
I don’t want to defend Disney but
It can be both
Tatiana Maslany is actually a good choice to be both even, that’s one of the only ambiguities that Canadians handle well
so is James Cameron directing or
He only directs movies if he has a chance to drown his actors nowadays
the way of water…
Literally
“We’ve done a tremendous amount of testing, and we did it successfully, for the first time, just last Tuesday [November 14th]. We actually played an entire scene underwater with our young cast. We’ve got six teenagers and one seven-year-old, and they’re all playing a scene underwater. We’ve been training them for six months now, with how to hold their breath, and they’re all up in the two to four minute range. They’re all perfectly capable of acting underwater, very calmly while holding their breath. We’re not doing any of this on scuba. And we’re getting really good data, beautiful character motion and great facial performance capture. We’ve basically cracked the code.”
she shot many of her scenes underwater. Never mind that she was closing in on 70. (She’s now 71.) […] Or that she needed to train with an expert who had coached elite military divers so that she could hold her breath, after a big gulp of supplemental oxygen, for more than six minutes. That made the part more attractive to her.
The effect looks bad
The lawyer shit in this is gonna be laser targeted to drive me absolutely bananas
Cowards.
Even though it takes place in Jersey Ms Marvel is definitely the most Canadian thing marvel has done yet, I bet simu liu is feeling totally upstaged right now
Only partially related, but so far it basically seems like a remake of turning red. Kind of awkward how similar they are
