The absence of Kremlings and MK Wii in 4K are things I will grumble about, however Fromsoft have sold me on systems before (no less than twice)

Damn new DK game got me when I was already checking out. Fuck. Don’t know what else could’ve gotten me except maybe a new Wario platformer. Now I want to make more bad financial decisions.

Boo Switch 2 boo.
I don’t have a Switch, so some of the appeal of the Switch 2 is that it would let me play Switch 1 games.
I went in hyped expecting one or two game announcements that would make me want it, but none of the games they showed off appealed to me.
Maybe I should just forget the Switches and pick up an Analogue Pocket for half the price.

when i saw the use of the mouse on civ 7 it became clear to me the purpose of the switch 2 is to fully lean into a device begging developers to simply port over all their old titles to, obviously the hardware will be more capable for the unity games etc. that had trouble optimizing, and adding mice is just one less point of friction for other games that might not have convenient paths onto their platform.
its a small launch library but to their credit they did manage to get a game from every game studio left standing after 2024
