if it’s smoother in the procon, it has to be as smooth in the joycon 2s or else Nintendo has gone insane and is building the entities with different tolerances
we still need to say what the madman what created flick stick says (IIRC the DS4 and Dualsense are noted as having way better gyros than anything Switch 1)
Real paradigm shift as the cool diverse kids in Nintendo ads now each live alone forever trapped in their own living rooms playing online, instead of playing couch co-op at parties / on trains / on rooftops / etc
i was gonna go with this one at first but i ended up just going with this because it was both cheaper and i’m really not looking for much other than a better grip while playing on the couch, i’m not taking this thing to any diverse stock model rooftop parties anytime soon
oh, so i think i maybe fixed the HDR issues (mostly)
the HDR is still terrible imo (colors don’t feel vibrant enough, everything has kind of a grey haze over it), but apparently if you switch HDR output to “compatible software only” it makes most stuff look a lot better because the layer of fake HDR added to the UI and games that don’t use it was really bothering me during gameplay
that sounds like they have an internal brightness for the SDR tonemapping based on your HDR settings instead of, I don’t know, letting you set it yourself (the one thing Windows HDR does well)
The tricks on Great Question Block Ruins are bananas. Probably only slightly less difficult than trying to keep a good line on any of the water courses.
