the whole back half of oracle (starts around 23:50) is nuts

watching the QZ gondola and I never realized the needler reticule changes for headshots… still learning new things about this game… also super clean swordfly at 51:10, they’re right it doesn’t make any sense

really hard to get clean gravemind halls at 52:45 like that, they’re all curvy and u end up bouncing. flying over the outdoor sections right after is sick too, i love watching it bc it’s all about using enemy spawns to your advantage

i had to “”“upgrade”"" my OS to OSX catalina for work and lost access to my splitter and over half my games cos they’re 32-bit apps which are no longer supported. i made a back-up before i moved and i fully intend to revert to my old OS when I get home (whenever that is), but that basically puts a blocker on speedruns (and also game dev. i assume i don’t wanna make any changes on a later OS if i’m going to be switching back soon) for the foreseeable future. 
maybe i can do some small LP stuff in the meantime.
anyway fuck apple all the way to hell. buncha cunts.

Since I’m back on this bullshit, enjoy this terrible stumbly new record Any% that I only kept because of a floating glitch that occurs when you jump on the same frame as someone detects you.
You’d think that would mean more attempts to clean that up but nope! Right into New Game Plus because that was in dire need of smoothing out RNG and bringing in the new strats. If I don’t stumble on the old stuff I’m cutting like 3-4 minutes already.

Because I had a first round interview and was told they were going to let us know the second round end of today, I did not have the mental state to be productive in other things. So I ground out the New Game+ category for several hours and pulled off a much smoother no-reload run. Seven and change minutes cut, sub-30 possible.
Entirely new way of handling the end boss level too! Technically all skills could be used but I decided to throw a sword after killing the doctor instead of kunai shuriken knock everyone on their ass skill. Which I shouldn’t because it doesn’t save time and narrows the alert margin when I’m rushing for my bike to end the level before I fail.
(They have not emailed about the second round, FUCK)
