Sonic Superstars is so mid

The bosses are so boring and tedious, the stages are whatever, it’s boring I was falling asleep playing it.

Drives me bonkers that the menu and world map music is this super short, aggressively boring 10 second loop

The medal special stage that’s a reference to Sonic 1’s special stages has BGM that’s like the musician was trying to remember what Sonic 1’s special stage sounded like and was humming it from memory except they forgot it all and just made something up and it sucks

All the music that’s not Tee’s is bad or forgettable

I got the digital deluxe version and I really regret buying it. It’s so bad compared to Sonic Mania, I wish I could get a refund.

The only good thing about it is the UI, which is gorgeous, and the characters are cute looking. It’s so good aesthetically but so whatever in every other way.
