Been playing Sonci3&K with Amy and having just played Hidden Palace I can confirm she is the canonical Super Hedgehog of Echidna lore based on her beating Knuckles to within an inch of her life.
Don’t have all the Super Emeralds so cannot comment on Hyper Amy but presume Amy will be able to play Doomsday Zone.
Forgot about her drop dash hammer thing up until about Sandopolis Zone so cannot comment on it’s impact on gameplay bar it’s exciting ability to make me run into/off things when attempted which does freshen up gameplay in general.
Hoping Sonic CD goes all the way and has Amy race Metal Sonic to free Sonic.
I’m so sorry I don’t know which sonic thread is for which sonic content, and maybe it was already posted I was too sad to read the forum yesterday but this has been stuck in my head all morning. I really am excited for non ironic enjoyment of the song
honestly cannot help but see a less stiff/better budgeted version of sonic 4 in this one… still mad at the incompetence of soa letting the mania team slip through their fingers cos they couldn’t be bothered giving them enough budget

Sonic Advance 2 SP is a ROM hack geared at improving some of the less-loved aspects of Sonic Advance 2.
Changes included:
Adjusted enemy placements to prevent many ‘cheap shots’, such as item boxes bouncing you into enemies
Many bottomless pit areas replaced with new routes, or made harder to fall into at a moment’s notice.
More plentiful Special Ring placement, allowing a more freeform approach to entering Special Stages
Special Stage entry requirement reduced to 5 SP Rings
That said, Advance 2 is still a challenging game! Bosses haven’t been touched, and in the later half of the game you should expect plenty of enemies - and the return of the dreaded bottomless pits. I’ve tried to balance things in a way that feels fair, but also rewards memorisation for repeat play and speedrunning - without as harsh a penalty for not doing so.
