still doing this, somehow haven’t missed a week yet because it turns out what is musically interesting to me is slowly turning a filter cutoff knob while a kick drum + hihat combo plays and having that go on for 9 minutes

i’ve been really depressed and creatively blocked with music for years and years. it’s really really hard for me to get motivated to finish anything. i wanted to do vocals and just never found a way to make it work so kinda have given up. also can’t really post stuff to twitter or patreon because both are unweildy and make me feel ultra exposed and i’m tired of feeling vulnerable in front of “fans” or whoever
anyway just could use some encouragement i guess since i haven’t gone anywhere for years with a lot of my stuff. please don’t have high expectations for these, it’s just random little bits that have been sitting around for years.
creepy: this is kind of randomly cobbled together bits and pieces so i could share it so probably doesn’t sound very coherent.
hmidont: this little piece is very old (i think 2013) but i added bass and a couple things else to it more recently
newmess1: this is newer, just messing around with some sounds really
weirdlittlething: this is also very old (probably 2014). this one was supposed to be making fun of like stilted handclappy percussion pop songs but i never did anything with it

been recording a lot lately. here are some piano pieces
the first piano piece i’ve “written” in several years
more of a seed, but an elaboration on ideas i’ve been toying with for months
