I love these so much
Yeah these are dope
god these are gorgeous, i love them. gonna listen to the stream now
thanks for the nice comments. it’s definitely encouraging esp because i struggle a lot with making music.
i’ve been experimenting with a hybrid hardware+ableton live setup recently & streamed it for a bit yesterday. i forgot to turn on twitch recording but here’s audio of the good bits! visualize me twiddling knobs and sweating to get the full effect
this fucking slaps
Yeah the section around 30 minutes is givin’ me chills, this rules
got some karenn vibes around 25min it’s dope
I’m always gonna go to bat for someone who uses an electribe 2 I don’t care
it’s the box i can wrangle super lush “circa-2006 namco sound team” leads out of and i’ll always keep it around for that. it’s just such a fun little thing to work with even tho i’m not big on all the menu diving
my friend paddy improvised some guitar over the semi-improvised piano from my twitch stream a few nights back and it was so pretty it made me weep
A couple months ago I started a SoundCloud page for my (5 years in development and counting) video game. I don’t consider myself a musician really but it’s something I love to do. I only ever picked up an instrument in my 20s about 10 years ago (bass/guitar in scrappy little basement bands) and starting making electronic music in GarageBand about 5 years ago. Early this year I upgraded to Studio One and got me some proper vintagey synth packages (Yamaha DX7, Roland Sound Canvas, etc.). I kind of dread looking back on these a year from now and hearing them the way I do my older stuff, but I think I can be satisfied with these and really I have to draw the line somewhere and move on if I’m ever to finish this game (next year just might be possible). I’d say these tracks are about 96% finished with a bit of compositional tweaking needed and certainly mixing/mastering (all in mono now). Any criticism is welcome!
(Edit: They’re supposed to loop though SoundCloud doesn’t seem to like doing that seamlessly…)
On Friday I posted a new EP onto Bandcamp. I think this is the first genuine ambient music recording I’ve done. I’m pleased with it.
This rules. Getting a Bonanza Bros vibe, especially off of (what i assume could be translated as) LAVACADABRA. This track in particular
playing with the same instrument set a little more. kind of a mess

Messing around with different trackers – this time Dreams & beepbox. Not sure if they’re “good” but I’m have fun making them. Might try Pico-8 again next. My only real attempt with it was the opening for Heat Death.
I love Beepbox so much. There’s a much more fully featured version called Jummbox that has stuff like automations, more granular controls, extra channels, etc. I’m actually going to release a bunch of Beepbox/Jummbox music as an album as soon as I’m happy with it as an album…and get some cover art…and think of a name…
anyway here’s my favorite song from the upcoming album: Ode to a Theremin
