sketching characters for my game. i feel limited imagining hair and clothes, meaning i need to do what i hate. studies
i like parts of this tho. sketching the gestures was pretty quick and i like bunny’s head and the gesture of the bat (whatever i was doing with that fringe was a huge miss tho, gonna figure something out for her)

i was trying to make may from guilty gear in the style of ice climbers on nes. but partway through it morphed back into how i normally draw sprites. i do one style, but at least i do it somewhat well.

At this point I’m not totally sure what I’d do if I had more than 5 minutes to make a drawing
(This is not meant to be a humblebrag, it’s that this style has developed entirely in the context of a sequence of 5 minute drawings of single pose and for real I don’t know where my next marks would go! Something to explore!!)

I drew the album cover for the latest album by the Native Cats and they finally unveiled it today.
I am pretty excited, I think the piece is pretty good and it’ll be way better seeing it as an LP. I have only done art for digitally released music so far! This is the first vinyl release I’ve ever worked on! So this kicks ass!! You should listen to the record AND buy it that is my advice, thanks, I think I did a killer job on the entire package, maybe once it ships I’ll share the pieces I did for the back/interiors too. Also @miffy helped with the logo/title design, thanks miffy!!

been trying to do other forms of art that isn’t another 8-bit sprite lately, but i’ve been having a severe block standing in the way, so i did another 8-bit sprite instead. this is a cowboy.

Havent Drawn Enough Recently (the eternal artist problem) but i did sketches of my Wizardry party in the margins of my maps that i think are pretty cute (theyre based on my OCs so i did just, kinda draw my OCs admittedly)
also here are some of the nicer looking maps for all you DUMAPRICKS out there (tone: affectionate)
