warioware-like where every game is a classic anime eyecatch turned into a game somehow
There’s a lot of fun ideas ITT but this one is especially brilliant imho
order 66 game that’s nothing but jumping from clone to clone murdering jedis over and over again
this might have already been suggested but you know how at the end of an act in Sonic 3, you can keep jumping and hitting the sign post and it keeps bouncing up until you decide to let it land? i want a whole platformer where you move through the whole level while trying to navigate while constantly hitting and juggling a similar object. like imagine the feeling of trying to run an obstacle course while you keep bouncing a ping pong ball on a held paddle.
damn, the california games hacky sack minigame should also be a platformer
imagine doing sick hacky sack tricks while simultaneously platforming through san francisco…
a long long time ago, i thought of a co-op platformer with vertically scrolling stages, where the player characters were volleyball players who had to get a ball to the top of a tower
oh this is neat! got like a Celeste meets Blockout feel
in my version, the player character would be a little dog that keeps hitting an umbrella on a windy day
medieval jousting sim but knights are equipped with Cold War jet armaments
inspired by me playing jousting with toy knights and announcing Fox 2 while detaching & launching the lance at the opponent
vs mode resident evil/deception maker
two players, each assigned a mansion. i think there would be a few different mansion layouts, assigned at random
they get an hour to fit the mansion with traps, maybe also monsters, plus they have to hide a treasure somewhere. puzzles might be too complicated for an average player to implement under pressure like this, but there could be keys to hide around the place.
once the hour’s up, the players have to explore each other’s mansion in a race to find the treasure
it’s a little streamer-baity i know. sorry about that.
that sounds real good
there are a few games it reminds me of (not a bad thing, just noting in case they might provide inspiration):
home alone (mega drive)
also castle doctrine (no comment on the game, i’ve never played it and only saw a screenshot of it for the first time today) and meet your maker
Or Spy vs Spy
I had a similar idea while playing animal crossing on ds emulator.
Like you get to design a village for someone to play an rpg in basically, and maybe that persons quests are based on how you managed or mismanaged the village …
realistic shopping trolley racer
hd2d ecco the dolphin remake/fangame/successor that heavily leans into the windows xp/fruitiger aero aesthetic
A women’s shelter management sim
You can sell cute mugs to raise money
pixel game maker ninja otedama r is this, short but very fun with ppl, forgiving but presumably less so if u were stricter than the game is (not my vid)
A point and click adaptation of the movie ‘Now and Then’ starring Christina Ricci
Somebody should convince some nerd to port a King Quest game to SCUMM and some LucasArts game to AGI.
