have to admit Iām kind of startled that they are going ahead and making Rose star in the DLC. I figured they would save her for whatever goofy name #9 has. But I guess it makes sense if theyāre going to play memorypunk in the megamycete.
actually, I was thinking maybe no DLC was coming out for it at all, but I guess itās only been 13 months since the game released? It just feels like the timing and amount of DLC for games isnāt as predictable as it used to be, but I guess thatās my own brain rotting and looking for patterns to cling to.
I keep thinking about the incredibly minor but perfectly sensible but largely unnecessary window boarding mechanic in RE2 remake.
I also keep thinking about how thereās a half-dozen or so items in RE7 that you can look at and spin around but not actually pick up, most of which donāt even provide any particular story flavor, but then in RE8 Ethan is running around constantly looting Treasure and Ingredients and shit. Feel free to make your own joke about American tourists.

i hate the winters family. this arc of the resident evil storyline is so grating to me because itās basically competent but immensely boring. the family stuff is so cloying, and I just will never buy any mainline RE character reacting to that kind of drama either. strange to say, but I think the character writing they did in RE3make is the most interesting theyāve done in this franchise in a very long time. VIIIās mercenaries mode is also by far the worst Mercenaries version we have ever had, so these additions donāt get me too excited even though they should. im also tired of mushrooms in games and scifi stuff right now. wah!!!
