I never liked Smash and I still don’t but as a 100% disinterested onlooker I can tell you that I think this trailer rocks and it’s cool that Sephiroth and Cloud and Mario and Dragon Quest dude are all duking it out. So I guess it only makes mathematical sense that people who actually care about this game hate it?

I’m cool with this. We haven’t had a new villain character in ages and he looks like he’s gonna have a hell of a poking game. I play belmont and that’s some of my favorite game to play.
Slightly disappointed it’s not a new series rep but it’ll be nice to see FF finish it’s additions to the museum with songs and some spirits.

I think my only beef with the trailer is the perpetuation of Advent Children propaganda and making people think it was good or significant.

It’s good that the Game Awards provide this service but just checked out the descriptive audio for the Sephiroth trailer and had fun hearing the descriptor try to interpret what was going on in a neutral tone.

Not a bad promotional idea honestly. I miss unlocking stuff.

Tried out Sephiroth and he’s kinda a combination of Ganondorf and Marth. Long range normals with unusual properties. I love it. I cannot get over how long the sword is, it makes me feel slight vertigo.

I don’t have any of the fighter packs or anything, but I picked up the adventure mode of this again and I’m continuously shocked at how absurd and huge it is. I’ve put like, 14 hours into it and I think I’m maybe 50% done?
And I get big City Trial from Kirby Air Ride vibes from this, specifically how there’s so much design put into a map that is mostly just walked through and over. It’s just so excessive for what you’re doing, which is walking around and doing smash battles until there’s nothing left to do.

Lowest odds seems to be agreed to be on a Pokemoun starter with it being the 35th anniversary of the first games this month.
Sad choice currently Dante what with his voice actor currently going all out to defend Mandalorian woman. Already plays English Ken though so not a huge difference either way.
