the extent to which these new characters in Ultimate are going further and further into recreating the way their games are played into the character itself is scaring me. We’ll get Doomguy as the final character of the DLC pack and it’s literally just going to turn the game into a first-person shooter

I wonder how far back this deal was made. Square’s reticence to provide anything beyond the basics will have to be broken in-line with the other DLC right? Hope there’s a chance we get tracks from games other than VII

Another boring prestige choice. I keep hoping for a curveball, like a Chrono Trigger character or something. But I guess it’s Sephiroth, they gotta have Sephiroth.
Still think it’s funny how everyone who was introduced to his character with the FF7 remake ONLY knows him as this total idiot manifesting randomly for no reason and being a goober for 3 minutes at a time once every 10 hours, with no actual bearing on the plot whatsoever.
