The one thing that may make them change that up though is that Spring Man is already in the game as an assist trophy and Ribbon Girl is a Mii costume.
there are mii costumes of other characters who are in the game like sonic, falcon, isabelle etc
even spirts i could see have two different versions like how the cuphead spirit has multiple versions depending on whether you own cuphead or not
