I do find it hilarious though that Sakurai’s mysterious hand pose in the thumbnail turned out to be just him in the middle of counting to 17 in binary on his fingers.

I hate to feed the fire but I only know about Earthbound because of Smash Bros.
I was expecting Byleth or some kind of 3 Houses Rep in the next pack but this is dissapointing to me because I like how each character was a new company/series getting added to the mix. This was just a big combo breaker to my heart.
Byleth looks fun at least. I like pokey characters but I kinda wish they were a stance character for the weapons instead of just hot swapping and getting baked into a standard moveset control layout.

Oh I know these people exist, and there is no denying it, but there was a pretty vocal EB fanbase pre Smash as well. Did Smash grow it? Sure, but it was still there.

Do all the Mii Fighters play the same? Or can you modify a Gunner/etc to be slightly different than the last Gunner?
they have different movesets you can mix
All the smash attacks and regular attacks are the same within each individual type; special moves (up+B, down+B, side+B) can be selected from three options for each type at the time of character creation.
I can not believe they put another fire emblem character in, w.a.w. (wow and wow)
