i keep telling myself with splatoon, villager, koopa kids, and the dragon quest hero it’s not like impossible that they will put in 8 arms characters as a character with a generic-ish moveset but who knows
spring man sure would stoke the fire that all the assists like shadow the hedgehog or waluigi or whoever will be updated to full character hahaha

My top picks:
Ninjara because ninja and movement options are usually a good thing to have in smash.
Twintelle because horny and it’s time for a new character that isn’t male. She still has normal hands so that opens up animation and attack possibilities.
Mechanica would be cool for a new heavy but being a heavy is almost a death sentence in the meta.
Barring that, just let it be Lola Pop to keep the clown fearing people on edge.

It’s Min Min! …I have no recollection of what differentiates these characters, and I can’t watch the video for another 9+ hours.
I wasn’t planning on buying the next fighter pack because I’m feeling over this game, but Min Min looks neat. I think one more interesting character after her might be enough for a purchase I only slightly regret later.
Still pining for a Smash Run mode to be added to this and make it so I can put away 3DS smash forever but am remembering the Home Run Contest was said to be the last bit of bonus mode stuff they would do.

Min Min’s gimmicks in Arms were that her left arm became permanently charged up after a throw until she was knocked down and her backdash and dash jumps did a kick that knocked attacks back
they kept both of these things in some form (throws charge up her main attack arm and her up-smash is also a reflect)
a character heavily susceptible to rushdown in a time where offline high level play doesn’t exist? busted?

Min Min was probably my favourite character from that game along with Mechanica, so glad it was one of those two.

on one hand, Ultimate is the saner game for my old man hands but online is bad
on the other hand, madmen put together a custom fork of Dolphin that adds matchmaking (!?) and rollback netcode (?!?!?) to Melee but then I would have to destroy my hands

MinMin at first glance looks like she might end up similarly to Byleth in that both want to stay at specific ranges but will suffer against characters with good movement. Byleth’s biggest failing was their movement speed not allowing them to keep their effective ranges from faster characters and punishing mistakes. MinMin doesn’t look that fast but the ability for her to follow up smash attacks with more smash attacks creates a new dynamic and mixups/pressure possibilities. So she’ll at least be able to cover her self a little better.
Her Up+B is just an escape move and as a megaman main I love characters that have dive kicks that I can catch with the Air Blade.
