I have been unusually lucky in that the few games I have discovered and played via this method (Patterna, From Beyond Prologue and Skater Cally (still don’t know where I learned of Heads Run from)) proved to be worthwhile, but they have also been… graded on a curve? This is probably obvious but I’d assume with 99% of the games listed here one would best be prepared to have to live with at least a few things going less than ideally.

Including Contra is probably a cheat, but I just wanted everyone to know that almost every review and comment on the steam page for this game is negative. Not because the game is bad mind you, but because it is locked at 30 FPS. Some brave soul noted that the game would still be trash even with a better framerate, but they’ve mostly been drowned out. This is the face of PC gaming.
One of the screenshots today had the line “Do you like drinking my piss, Ido dear?” on it. I’m deeply offended by it, not because it is unpleasant or graphic but because I am under the impression that the game itself doesn’t run at 60 FPS. There is such evil in this world.
