i think that might be it and i’d simply imagined (or conflated --as tigress pointed out: it’s very doom 3) the torch part? it having a kinda stupid name feels like a familiar detail that i’d forgotten.

Are you thinking of .kkrieger? Kind of a stretch but its mostly bug aliens and stencil shadows and the gimmick is the game is so procedural that they managed to fit it into a 96kb executable
no separate flashlight mechanic either, but it does have that doom 3 garishness in an ugly demoscene shell

Yeah I think the entire reason .kkrieger got any notice at all (it sucks to play hahaha) is that it did doom 3 lighting in 96kb. Your best source of illumination is shooting a gun

Which ace combat 3 translation is the best and does AC6 play noticeably different on a Series X than a 360 (or an emulator but I’ve never tried 360 games before)

the ac3 translation from last year is best the other one doesn’t fully translate a bunch of stuff
Ac6 runs better on the series x it’s a totally fine way to play it. The terrain was messed up last time I tried it in xenia

Does anybody know anything about minecraft? I’m trying to figure out if there’s a way to view this minecraft adaptation of an old chinese painting in minecraft itself, rather than just watching the video. I know nothing about this game and trying to talk about it makes me feel like the oldest person alive
the instructions on the original upload of the video on billibilli say it can be found on the chinese edition of minecraft (我的世界-新篇章) via 国建清明上河图, but i don’t know what any of that means or if it’s accessible in other regions too. they also mention a way to add the NPCs to the game but it requires an add on that’s hosted on a baidu cloud drive. I do have the link and password for that if anyone wants to try.
