are there any game design articles, pen and paper rpg systems, or gamebooks that would be applicable to explore in a design sense if i’m interested in making a princess maker style raising sim that is primarily about strategic raising of stats, time management, and occasional story choices with stat checks?

Pendragon RPG has this whole ‘winter phase’ baked into its mechanics to simulate characters aging, their stats developing, having kids, etc. It’s essentially a little life-sim minigame that you play between adventuring scenarios.

what’s the best way to view twitter with an account these days? the default twitter feed is unbearable
tweeten on win/mac (wraps tweetdeck into a desktop app) or tweetbot on mac/ios
not sure about android
Make twitter lists and just use those. Always chronological, no ads and no recommendations of anything but what is on those lists.

what do yall think is an appropriate way to sign off a readme? i’m writing a new one atm and i usually write “enjoy” at the end, but that doesn’t fit my ascii resolution neatly (it needs to be an even number of characters lol) so i changed to “thanks for playing” but like… people probably haven’t played the game when they read that, so…?
