I have a question regarding the Wiki!

The Wiki is wonderful and what initially lured me into SB. I was aware about insert credit, as well as its offspring abdn, but not about select button, and the wiki appeared when I was searching for some uncommon games, and I felt compelled to explore more, reaching the forum.

So, it would be great if the Wiki got some updates… I guess it requires some hard work, but are there any plans to do so?

What would be the best way to play Vampire: Bloodlines today? Are there any special mods or patches I should be aware of?

I recall there was a a big fan patch that fixes a lot of the remaining bugs, and maybe also added some un-finished quests. I googled for it and found out there are now two competing patches, “Unofficial Patch” and “True Patch”.

As the patch grew over the years more and more changes and additions were made to the game which are widely considered controversial, particularly by players only interested in fixes to problems still present in the final official version of the game. This even lead to an alternate series of patches known as the True Patch. To counter this the Unofficial Patch was eventually divided into two separate versions, a “basic” version and a “Plus” version, the latter of which contains major additions to the game which arguably do not represent the creative vision of the game’s original developers. At this point the patch is distributed in form of a configurable installer and the desired version can be selected during the installation process.

So Unofficial must be the long-running one. I went to the website for True Patch and it has a big picture promoting the creator’s nude mods.
