Ramona wrote about it becoming almost the only person in any language to write about it.
Any good game that could satiate my desire to play Naval Ops: Warship Gunner? World of Warships feels like the obvious answer but I donât want to get into a F2P thing and without any kind of single player. Iâm getting dangerously close to buying Azur Lane Crosswave while itâs on sale for $20 and need some boat shooting game that would undoubtedly be a better use of money.
Bonus points if it has cool curvy lasers like Warship Gunner too.
I have a question! I have Tearaway for PS Vita (NTSC version), I was going to sell it on eBay, but I see that it goes for quite high prices (around 50-60 usd). Before I put it for sale, does perhaps anybody know why?
All physical games that are just a few years old have started jumping in price with the pandemic starting. People also noted that a number of PSP, PS3 and Vita games at least seemed to have further gone up in price with the announcement of their PSN store shutdowns. Even though that decision has now been reversed I donât expect the prices to really go down again much.
whatâs the best way to play resident evil 4 in the year of our kawazu 2021? the pc port?
I think thatâs probably the best port. It has all the features of the PS2 version, looks better than the gamecube version. The only thing you can really say is that it isnât the Wii version.
So play the most recent PC port or the Wii version.
Never actually played any ports but I legitimately find it hard to imagine not playing RE4 with a GC controller. It just used it so damn well.
Why does R-Type Delta feel so good to play but R-Type Final feels like shit?
Delta is 60fps and Final isâŚrunning. Itâs running at some frames per second at the very least.
Does anyone remember a hand-drawn, maybe flash game about a wonderful cat who stands on two legs and invites us to witness some stupendous stories within a carny sort of tent? It was kind of whimsical sad. Maybe part of a series? The person who made it I remember being kind of eclectic.
trying to find games that would be fun to play with my gf. i know she likes Taiko no Tatsujin, so my questions are:
- is there like, a definitive version out right now that is good?
- is there a satisfying drum controller available?
also been thinking of playing stuff like Danganronpa or something with her?
If I had that environment I would play the Taiko no Tatsujin RPG(s?) .
I also think playing Dangan Ronpa in very deliberate chunks where you have to think about what is happening for a day(s) is the best way to play it.
Similarly if you both can stomach horror Until Dawn is an absolute blast and one of the best on ps4. Really want to play the new games by that studio but donât have the environment for it and feel like playing alone would just be sad.
Definitive version, not really. Taiko hasnât really changed significantly in a decade, so it mostly comes down to song choice more than anything. Switch versions of Taiko released since 2018 have been released in the West.
I donât know about satisfying, but the official drum controller (for Switch) has come out in Asia and Europe. Donât think itâs available in North America.
The official drum controller is decent enough, although itâs pretty expensive. You kinda have to hit it reasonably hard to make sure it registers the note, and even then you just have to accept that itâs going to miss some randomly from time to time.
I always have to box it in with heavy books to stop it shifting around as well, as itâs kinda light.
Itâs also surprisingly loud, so need to keep that in mind if you live in an apartment or with other people etc
Apparently you can mod them to make them more sensitive, I havenât tried that though
this is extremely helpful to know!
it seems like there is some person in Japan who custom makes really good controllers that are several hundred dollars. that kind of rules but also is probably overkill for me.
still, yeah, knowing it could be loud and annoying for my neighbors is something to consider
Does anyone know if Samurai Gunn 2 is using rollback code?
Whatâs the best version of Crysis? Original or remastered? And on which platform?
Crysis - original, PC is the best version, but you may need to install some patches. Details here. It periodically goes on sale for $5 on steam and itâs $5 now.
The Remaster is ok and much easier to get running but itâs a little compromised from the original game (itâs based on the Xbox 360 port and they didnât restore all the originally cut features).
Crysis is best viewed in context next to S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl and Far Cry 2. Itâs the weakest of those three open-world systemic shooters, but itâs got its own virtues in its high-complexity tactical play and fully destructible building kits.
