Just curious, why not? I read the first two short story collections and liked them well enough (but not enough to dive into the rest of the series).

What exactly is gained from transferring an Arc the Lad I save into Arc the Lad II? Is the game remotely playable if I don’t? (I will have played Arc I, just on a different platform that I’m intending to play Arc II, so transferring my save is impractical)
I’d say that if you are at all concerned about the effort of getting into the Last Remnant, you should definitely not get the Last Remnant

My dad mentioned wanting to play Adventures of Lolo again. Anybody know which NES emulator would be simplest and most accessible for me to have him set up, since I won’t physically present and therefore can’t just do it for him?

Has anyone played Desert Child yet?
Yeah. Desert Child is a game that sacrifices everything at the altar of Style. It works!
Races look good and feel good. Exploring the city after the brief tutorial is as amazing as it looks in trailers (but it doesn’t last long)
There are two big flaws:

This (kickstartered) game was promised as « RPG-ish » and suggested a storyline, but dialogue is kept at an absolute minimum. It’s not Ridge Racer Type 4, and, uh, absolutely not Final Fantasy. City exploration feels a bit empty and pointless as a result - I’m guessing the game’s author probably intended to put a lot more in the game but ran out of money. Most of what there is to see in the game is in the trailers.

It gets repetitive after a couple hours, there’s nothing to do but grind the same missions over and over without any sort of challenge or new distractions. Gotta get 5000 neo-dollars for the Grand Prix
I had about two excellent hours with it that made me continue playing way after I should have stopped
