Pokémoun UK

I understand wanting to be able to “catch 'em all” in this new Pokemon. I really do. I’m sad I can’t transport my whole X/Y brood into the game when it comes out.

But the continued cries and out of control vile from The Gamers makes me want them to suffer so. People who act like this don’t deserve the things they want and I’m happy they won’t get it.

Also I just notice the “u” in this thread’s title and that is some first-class thread titling.

“Fans” are fucking idiots. GameFreak has been doing this for a while now – omitting Pokemon from prior regions to focus on the monsters of the newer regions and so they aren’t overwhelming 9 year olds with over 800 different fucking Pokemon. That’s almost 1,000 different monsters, each with their own type advantage and disadvantages, movesets, locations, evolutions, et cetera. Even in G/S/C, I still have to stop and look up a good chunk of the Pokemon to figure out what the fuck they’re weak or strong to. Also, “half-ass their games”? Uhh, I think not having to spend time and resources on 1,000 different fucking monsters so they can actually focus on the rest of the game isn’t half-assing it, it’s distributing their available resources properly. Christ, gamers can all eat shit and die! These are games for kids, ultimately. Fucking grown-ass adults need to get the fuck over it.

Also, Mega evolutions were fucking stupid! I go to Digimon if I want that shit, not Pokemon.

Also, this location looks to be the most, I don’t know, uninteresting one yet, so I’m not really concerning myself too much with this iteration. But these fucking 25 year olds throwing a fit need to sit the fuck down and shut up.

Me not getting what I want is the same as the Holocaust

Shit yes, this is my ASMR.

This too.

i liked megas, it was kind of like getting evolutions for older mons without some kind of nonsense new method to explain why they couldnt evolve before

I probably (maybe) wouldn’t mind if these “mega evolutions” were permanent, rather than temporary. Pokemon have never been able to “de-evolve” back to their previous form, that’s more of a Digimon (show) thing, and it just feels out of place in Pokemon. But, I don’t care that much ultimately because I don’t really play the games that feature them.

in which several people do not realize that children are capable of being on the internet

I am sure the dumb shit I’m reading is coming from people 11 years old up to 38 years old.

Yeah, I’m sure that’s from a fucking 10 year old.

Get bent, man. Every goddamn thread has to have contrarian snarky, bullshit.

when i was about 10 years old i got really angry when they announced the next zelda was not going to be like that spaceworld trailer, but instead was going to be “celda”

i do not recall making any holocaust comparisons about the situation

at worst, i was just very mean to nearby pillow

I never said specifically 10. 16 or 17 sounds about right for that sort of thing.

Just realized that according to my alleged age range above I could well be talking about a dad and son both posting vile, entitled Pokémon complaints on their smartphones in the same reddit thread while sitting in the same living room.

Damn.

Ok but if you’re 17 and spewing vile entitled gamer fuckery on Reddit then I have no problem putting that idiot shit head on blast because fuck you do better.

That’s entirely fair

it’s OK to have higher standards for society than “the dumbest shit you were ever exposed to in your young life and which you now carry around as some kind of essential truth which everything good and decent is somehow eliding”

that you once knew a ten year old who made a Nazi joke does not mean everyone else’s expectations are too high

I mean, fair

I’m just saying giving them even the attention it takes to get angry at them is a pearls-before-swine sort of situation. Declaring war on them isn’t going to make them go “gee, you know, when you put it that way…”

Then again I’m a pathologically non-confrontational and avoidant person by nature, so maybe the “sigh and walk away” approach isn’t so widely-applicable as I thought
