Didn’t we say “rural” games? Not that I have a lot to say about that I don’t think. BUT I’LL THINK OF SOMETHING
Rural games seems like it would mostly focus on things like:
-Harvest Moon and family/clones
-Summer adventure stuff, like that one series I’m not going to look up the name of, Attack of Friday Monsters by same guy, Chulip, maybe Contact & Sakura Note, The Sims: Bustin’ Out on GBA, some other stuff…
-Some of the Way of the Samurai games?
-Low-tech/moderate-fantasy RPGs like Breath of Fire, Ultima, Oblivion/Skyrim, The Unreal World…
-Horror games set in remote but human-developed locations like country mansions and coastal towns
-Loom? Araiguma Rascal? Operation Flashpoint? Zelda?
Of course, if Felix means “sailing”…
-Pure boat action, from refined sims to Shipwrecked
-Boat as major aspect, such as Assassins Creed and Galleon
-Pirates
-Uncharted Waters
-Boat sections in games (actually started a list of these just a few days ago)
-Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass
-The history of boats in RPGs, from the power of a captured pirate frigate in early Ultima to the burdenous necessity of sea travel in Suikoden IV
-Port town jams
